About M-Codex
M-Codex is a CRM built specifically for real estate developers, brokers, and sales teams — a product of Modi Properties Pvt. Ltd.
This Privacy Policy describes how M-Codex ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our CRM application, including our integration with Google Drive.
Google API Services User Data Policy
M-Codex's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What Google Drive Data We Access
M-Codex ONLY accesses files that you explicitly upload through our application.
When you connect Google Drive to M-Codex, we access:
- Files you upload through M-Codex (property plans, construction reports, MEP documents)
- File metadata (names, types, sizes, dates) for files you upload
- Folders created by M-Codex to organize your documents
- Your Google account email for authentication
We do NOT access:
- ❌ Your personal photos or videos
- ❌ Your personal documents or spreadsheets
- ❌ Files in other folders not created by M-Codex
- ❌ Any files you created outside of M-Codex
How We Use Google Drive Data
We use Google Drive exclusively to:
- Store real estate business documents you upload (property plans, QC reports, MEP documents)
- Organize files in dedicated folders
- Link documents to projects in your CRM
- Enable your team to view and download project documents
- Generate temporary links to view or download files
Limited Use Requirements
- ✓ We only use Google data to provide M-Codex CRM features
- ✓ We do not transfer Google data to third parties (except cloud hosting infrastructure)
- ✓ We do not use Google data for advertising
- ✓ We do not allow humans to read your data unless you request support, for security purposes, or as required by law
Data Storage
- No Permanent Storage: We do not store file content on our servers. Files remain in your Google Drive.
- Metadata Only: We store only file metadata (filename, folder ID) in our database to link documents to CRM records
- Access Tokens: We securely store OAuth tokens to maintain your connection
- Immediate Deletion: When you revoke access, all data and tokens are deleted within 24 hours

Usage Information
- Device information (browser type, operating system)
- Log data (IP address, access times, pages viewed)

- Active Accounts: Data retained while your account is active

- Backups: Deleted data may persist in backups for up to 90 days
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data

Revoking Google Drive Access
Via Google Account:
- Visit myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Find "M-Codex" in connected apps
- Click "Remove Access"
Via M-Codex:
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Drive
- Click "Disconnect Google Drive"
After revocation: M-Codex loses access immediately. Your files remain safe in your Google Drive.
Children's Privacy
M-Codex is for professional use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
International Data Transfers
M-Codex operates from India. Your data may be transferred to and processed in India or where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
